New Student Application Fee

All new students are required to pay a non-refundable $75 fee upon submission of the admissions application. 

Enrollment Fee

All students are required to pay the non-refundable enrollment fee prior to the start of the school year. It is charged for them using the payment method on file once their enrollment is confirmed for the 2024-2025 school year. Once a student is enrolled, the enrollment fee will be automatically charged for the following year unless a student Intends to Discontinue their enrollment (as per the Save-Your-Spot policy)

Annual Tuition

Tuition is due in full at the start of the school year. As a convenience to families, it can also be paid in 10 equal monthly installments (from August 1, 2024 to May 1, 2025).

Please note that tuition is due in full for each student, regardless of how many days per week they attend RISE East Bay. Discounts offered in the previous year that are not listed below will not apply for the 2024-2025 school year.

Tuition Discounts:

  • *Upfront Payment Incentive: 5% upfront payment incentive for families that pay the full amount of the tuition due by August 1st, 2024
  • Siblings: A 10% tuition discount is available for families with multiple children enrolled at the school. 
    • If a family has a student in ECE and a student elementary enrolled, a 10% sibling discount is automatically applied to the elementary student. 
    • If a family has only elementary students in a family, the 10% sibling discount is automatically applied to the younger K-8 students. The oldest elementary student will pay the full tuition.
  • ECE: Toddler and Pre-K students will not receive any tuition discounts except for the Upfront Payment Incentive.
  • Staff: RISE Academy staff members can receive a discount up to 50% on their child’s tuition, depending on their employment status. Staff discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or financial assistance except for the Upfront Payment Incentive.

Serve the Mission Fund

In alignment with our mission and vision, our commitment at RISE East Bay is to extend our services to as many students and families as possible. In support of this initiative, we’ve introduced the “Serving the Mission Fund,” offering families the opportunity to contribute back to the school through a minimum monthly donation of $25 ($250 annually). 
These contributions play a crucial role in supporting various school initiatives, including the sponsorship of other students, development of future programs, funding classrooms, and more!
It’s important to note that any amount contributed to this fund is considered a donation and is separate from school tuition. As RISE Education System is a 501(c)(3) organization, these donations are tax deductible. Official receipts are available upon request.
RISE East Bay greatly appreciates the ongoing support of its students and families!

Financial Agreement

  1. Full payment of yearly tuition is due at the time of enrollment. While the option of paying in installments is offered as a convenience to parents, the full tuition amount is still required regardless of whether or not school is in session for the entire month. Failure to meet payments may result in dismissal of students from RISE Academy.
  2. Students that at RISE East Bay after September will pay tuition at a prorated cost based on their first day of school. Their first tuition payment is due before they begin attending school. 
  3. The application fee and enrollment fee are both non-refundable
  4. In the event of early withdrawal, tuition is not refunded for time the student was enrolled
  5. Parents must give at least 15 days notice prior to withdrawing to avoid being charged for the month. Students who are withdrawn on or after May 1, 2025, will not receive a credit for days not enrolled.
  6. Tuition is still due in the event of student absences in order to maintain their enrollment status
  7. If a student pays upfront tuition and withdraws through the year, they will be refunded for the days the student will not be attending as long as 15 days notice is given. If 15 days notice is not given, tuition for the month following withdrawal will not be refunded.
  8. Tuition can be paid through Credit/Debit Card or ACH/Bank Transfer. Credit/Debit Card transactions will incur a 3% processing fee. In the event of refunds or withdrawals, the processing fee will not be refunded.
  9. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure the payment method on file is up-to-date. If a tuition payment is declined on the first day of the month or tuition is not submitted, there will be a $25 late payment charge issued if it is not resolved by the 3rd business day of the month. 
  10. The payment method on file may be used to charge other incidental fees during the school year such as special in-class activities, field trips, or late pick-ups.
  11. RISE East Bay reserves the right to dismiss any student whose individual needs cannot be met by the school.
  12. RISE East Bay reserves the right to refuse service if there is a dispute or violation of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
  13. RISE East Bay reserves the right to change the fees and programs offered without prior notification.
  14. RISE East Bay will bill tuition in accordance with the advertised amount on our website and indicated above.
